A Place in the Sun

Art by the first generations of professional female artists in Denmark, well-known as well as unknown, born between 1840 and 1930. Museums and private persons all over Denmark have generously lent us paintings and sculptures for the exhibition, which has enabled us to put together a cross-disciplinary exhibition of female Danish artists from the pioneer years. Supported by the Municipality of Århus, the BG Foundation and the Nykredit Foundation.
